I find that the more portraits I shoot, the more comfortable I get with them. When it comes to the technical and composition side of portraits, I’m confident. But learning to direct, pose, and interact with people in a fun but productive way takes experience, so I’m always willing to jump at a chance to better my skills in that area!

This past Saturday, a good friend from college and fellow photographer invited me along to a couples shoot she was doing for a friend of hers. I only took a few shots here and there, but I was really happy with how they came out.

If you have a spare second, click the link and vote them “Cutest Couple in Wilmington,” they’re #9! Also, be sure to check out my friend Christina’s images from this shoot at Broken Shutter Photography – she has one up already and I’m sure more are coming!
